At least he had enough sense to enjoy a Guinness while he was there. I'm told that the homegrown stuff is even better than what we get in the States.

Keep my old colleagues at Con-way Truckload in mind this evening.  I just got a message from a friend in Oklahoma.  A tornado apparently did quite a number on Joplin, Missouri tonight.  After checking out a few news reports, I must say that the pictures look like something from a bad movie.  My buddy in Oklahoma says that the CTL (old CFI) main terminal got "throttled completely."

A lot of truck drivers spend their time sleeping in the parking lot at that terminal.  Here's hoping that they got ample warning to take cover.

Just in case...

I'm not very well versed in this Rapture business.  It doesn't seem to have a lot of traction in the mainstream Christian community, but I guess Jesus wasn't a big hit with a lot of mainstream Jews for a while either.  Who knows, man?  I sure don't.  I do have a pretty busy weekend ahead of me so I thought I would go ahead and post this ahead of time.  6pm Saturday will sneak up on me in a hurry. 

If I am fortunate enough to get taken to Heaven tomorrow and you get left behind, hopefully you'll endure the trials and suffering a little more with the knowledge that I've gotten a kick out of some of these chats.  Best wishes to you.

If you're fortunate enough to get taken and I'm left behind, go on your way and feel no sorrow for the likes of me.  However it all turns out, I've probably got it coming to me.  I'll contently accept whichever judgment comes my way.

If we're all still here on Saturday night, then... I don't know... nevermind, I guess.
