Three and a half hours is probably par for the course at the Secretary of State's office these days. Freaking ridiculous. Then an asinine argument followed, regarding what I said or didn't say I wanted to renew. She was trying to charge me $65. I said $60 was the right price. Yeah, I won the argument. So now I remain a licensed driver and I still may manage to wind up in a town near you some day.

A buddy of mine suggested that we hit Drinks Saloon for dollar beers and to watch the Tigers, so I was forced to miss the president's (riveting, I'm sure) 75th speech of the year. The Tigers lost again though. Probably what I get for snubbing The One™. Oh well. I think I'm gonna be on the move for the next few days, so at least Holder and the gang will have a tough time rounding me up and getting my mind right.

That thar's coolie carrier OTR truck drivin fur ya! Come's as no surprise to me.........the disrespect and condescending attitudes towards the professional driver. Sucks huh? Thank the 25CPM coolie outfits for much of that!

Howdy Joe! Had to get settled, but I am back online. Now I'll have some time to straighten out this blog along with another message board.

    I hope you are well.

  2. Oh Joe......

I'm still pissed about that embarassing ass kicking that the Lions dealt the Colts.......

  3. Man, that Alaskan air is already getting to you. Get on the same page with us here. I became a licensed driver in 1992 and, to the best of my recollection, I've never had a prompt and/or efficient experience at the Secretary of State during the intervening 17 years. The trucking bit was incidental to the general clusterfuck that is government in action. You've got to pick your spots on the coolie carrier stuff more carefully.

I'm not a Lions fan and I've never watched a preseason NFL game in my life, so I can't help you there either. You really ought to be a Notre Dame fan though, in which case you just might be a decent individual.

I've got ten bucks with your name on if you can get me a signed photo of the former governor. I got me a feevah and the only prescription is more Sarah.

  4. LOL Good point Joe. I didn't even take the time to read through what you were talking about. I just needed to throw you a coolie carrier to brighten your day a bit! LOL

Well, I tell ya. Alaska is indeed a small state when it comes to meeting people. If I get a signed pic of Sara, it is yours Joe! Don't be too surprised if it does happen though. Belpre gets around......

Not doing any driving up here although I've been offerred multiple jobs. I will be working as a Surface Weather Observer for the FAA at the Valdez airport. I have my big test on Monday. My security clearance is complete so I can go to work right away if I pass. Wish me luck Vito!

I'll keep in touch. Be safe, Joe.

  5. A kindler, gentler Barzini, with a respectable job to boot? Holy smokes. Guess I'll just have to keep the sleeveless shirts and phony log books handy at all times from now on. I know my place in the world, after all.

Good luck with the rest of the process. I'm down here in DC, so I'll try to convince these rabblerousers to keep the FAA in operation after they unleash their anarchy... or something.
